I don't know if I should be excited or really confused.....

Well like most of you die-hard fans like me are probably cringing at all of the outtakes and fill-ins that were involved in Escaflowne on Fox this morning.  Well I'm gonna have to say that the dialogue was not that bad.  They did an overall decent job.

The intro was not that bad, I liked it.

How they cut and pasted things from the first episode was not bad either, but it also was not good missing the whole Portuguese line, and how they got from a track to a shrine……
Lets see, from A to D to F to C

I do NOT like how the music was cut and replaced in sections. Added words were NOT necessary.
NEVER PLAY TECHNO IN THE ESCAFLOWNE SHRINE. (Its disrespectful!)

The 27 or other odd number of sound effects added of the grinding gears and other little tech sounds.  Not to mention that they took out the Tarot card sounds.
Finding that Hitomi knows the whole damn series already.

The pronunciation of names…FAN  NAIL  LE  A
VAN  FAN  EL ….at least they got ZAIBACH right sort of.

They got to teach people how to chant......

They took out the semi-psychotic music when they showed the town on fire it’s more “emotional and whiny”.

For every One fox Episode you watch, you will have to watch three Japanese episodes to cure your insanity and recover from all the "cut and paste".

If they take out "shadow of a doubt" I’m boycotting Fox.

Here begins the arguments between you, the die hard FAN, and the IGNORANT -I -THINK –ANIME- ON -TV –IS- BETTER -THAN -THE -ORIGINAL –JAPANESE watchers that will try to argue with you the sequence of events, in which you say “lets pop in one of MY tapes and we will see how things really happened”, and yes there is a FIRST episode!  What is gonna happen if the kids see the original tapes and convince their parents to buy them?  Then they will see a “WHOLE NEW ESCAFLOWNE”.  As the craving for the kids to have “rare, import stuff” on most of the Anime that is on TV nowadays, hopefully when that happens that it makes em all mad at FOX when they find out the truth.  Not to mention when the parents step in.  CHAOS! Craves to hear Dilandu laughter at the word
